Daisy's Training

Welcome to your second home Daisy!
It's hard work selling Vivienne Westwood.........

Tuesday 24 July 2012

These great affordable bags arrived the other week. They are beautifully finished with a vintage feel about them. They're made using the off-cuts from good quality leather sofas. The raw material is a responsibly sourced bi-product - aniline cow's leather.

Silivia £99
Everything about this is so well considered from the pockets to the stripey canvas strip that is stitched to the underside of the strap and so protects delicate tops and precious knits.

Sling - £99
A good sized satchel, again well considered with plenty of pocket space and a generous strap. This will look even better the more used and battered it gets!

We have three other styles. They are a welcome addition to our non sale pieces and will look great with the imminent Autumn/Winter ranges. (Scary I know seeing as though we're only just starting to have our summer!)

Sale Continues

There's more reductions in store as the sale continues - loads of bargains, including these
Vivienne Westwood Anglomania + Melissa shoes.

These flip flops were £85 and now only £29. So bargainous!

And the 'Lady Dragon'. They were £120 and now half price at £60.

Plus the 'Skyscraper' was £128 now reduced to £64. They are pretty comfortable for a high heel!

These are just a small selection of the Vivienne Westwood Anglomania + Melissa that we have.
(I was sticking to the red and black sale theme). We have reductions on our other makes too -
Tracey Neuls and Trippen.
They're flying out fast and it won't be long before the sale ends. So grab them while you can!

We're so looking forward to all the new goodies that will soon be upon us. Watch this space.

Harrogate Home and Gift Fair

Our buying trip to Harrogate on Sunday involved:

picking up the stylish Fiat 500. I want this car!

 Quick hello to Daisy.
(Hurry up and get house trained
so you can keep us company in the shop!)

And so we arrived.
A productive day - we'd already put in four orders by 1pm
including Ayala Bar jewellery and Kapre scarves
(oh lots and lots of beautiful scarves.)

Delicious fish & chips for lunch at Graveley's

One last look round before heading home. And the sun stayed out all day.
Please come back soon sunshine - we miss you!

Tichtech Jewellery

Last week saw the arrival of a large delivery of one of our favourite ranges of jewellery, Tichtech. We spent the whole day trying to get it out on display and still sold a couple of pieces as we were unpacking it! It's all out now, looking lovely and selling well still.

Very unusual £69, looks even better on a real person!

How lovley are these? £25, £29, £18. Maybe not to be worn altogether!

Amazing statement brooches £25 & £39.

These are probably my favourites £25 each.
There's lots more in this range as well as all the pieces in our other ranges.

We're off on the road again this Sunday to Harrogate to hunt for more jewellery. We'll also be looking for Christmas bits. Scary how quickly it comes around!

Scoop International Fashion Fair

The time has come for buying again - exciting! Especially when it takes place at so civilised a venue as the Saatchi Gallery.

We drove down to London for the day on Sunday to check out Scoop International Fashion Fair that was being held there. I was the designated driver and it was the first time I had ever driven right through London. Suprisngly there were no major disasters and I only stalled twice which sounds bad but is actually really good because I normally drive automatic!

Scoop is a relatively new show but seems
to be getting busier each season.

It was a successful day and we found two amazing new fashion labels - one from Sweden and one from Japan. They will be with us for next Spring. We also ordered some beautiful scarves that will arrive in the Autumn.
